Content Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creation, maintenance, up-gradation of all training content
  • Quality of content created and the training of trainers on the content
  • Timely handover of training content to facilitate training
  • Safety and security of the content developed
  • Creation of e-learning content
  • Co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in content work
  • Detailed content planning and control including:
    • Developing and maintaining a detailed content development plan
    • Managing content deliverables in line with the business plan
    • Recording and managing content development issues and escalating where necessary
    • Managing content storage, security and upgrade
    • Monitoring content progress and performance
    • Providing status reports to the management team
    • Managing content training within the defined budget
    • Liaison with, and updates progress to the board/senior management
    • Managing content evaluation and dissemination activities
    • Managing consultancy input within the defined budget
QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 3-5 years of related writing, editing, and desktop publishing coordination experience
  • Knowledge of various creating and publishing applications in addition to general computer skills
  • An excellent eye for detail and expertise with the written language
  • Ability to coordinate projects and carry out accurate work in deadline-intensive, high-production environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with trainers at all levels
  • Familiarity with The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Chicago Manual of Style, and other industry style guides
  • Background in the field of education and research is extremely desirable

  • Plan the project, including key steps, timelines and responsibilities
  • Understand the client needs and define the most appropriate approach, and the project deliverables
  • Efficient and timely delivery of project
  • Spear-head client interaction during the project to ensure smooth execution of the project
